What we collect

We collect information to assist in day to day business operations that may include personal data.

The exact information we will request will depend on what you have asked us to do or what we have been contracted to do. This notice is intended for customers and prospective customers only.

The contracts that we hold with customers may be written or verbal.

Personal data: is the general information that is supplied about an individual – such as name, address, gender, date of birth & contact details.

In the majority of cases personal data will be restricted to basic information and information needed to supply professional services to you / the business in connection with you such as your name, email address and contact telephone number.

The purposes for which we intend to process personal data

We intend to process personal data for the following purposes

To enable us to supply professional services to you / the business in connection with you, for example (but not limited to)
Communicating with you to fulfil the obligations of the professional services we have been contracted to provide
Liaising with third party companies to obtain quotations / about connected services they supply or may supply
To use in the investigation and/or defence of potential complaints, disciplinary proceedings and legal proceedings.
To enable us to invoice you for services and investigate/address any disputes that you may have arisen.
We will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

We will not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Marketing

We do not send any information about products and services to any private individuals.

The legal bases for our intended processing of personal data

The processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with you / the business that is in connection with you.

It is a requirement of our contract with you / the business that is in connection with you that you provide us with the personal data that we request. If you do not provide the information that we request, we may not be able to provide professional services to you. If this is the case, we will not be able to commence acting or will need to cease to act.

How we protect your personal data

We have technologies in place such as a one-time-password VPN (Virtual Private Network) to secure remote access to our data and use complex and secure passwords on all electronic devices with access to said data.

We use computer safeguards such as regular backups, off site backups, firewalls and have anti-virus software in place.

We enforce, where possible, physical access controls to our buildings and files.

Requesting personal data we hold about you (subject access requests)

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you (subject access requests’ (“SARs”)). If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email kaye@netmansol.co.uk. We may make a small charge for this service.

To help us provide the information you want and deal with your request more quickly, you should include enough details to enable us to verify your identity and locate the relevant information. For example, you should tell us:

You have a right to obtain the rectification of any inaccurate personal data concerning you that we hold. You also have a right to have any incomplete personal data that we hold about you completed. Deleting your records (the right to erasure)

If you would like your personal data to be erased, please inform us immediately and we will consider your request. In certain circumstances we have the right to refuse to comply with a request for erasure. If applicable, we will supply you with the reasons for refusing your request.

In certain circumstances you have the right to ‘block’ or suppress the processing of personal data or to object to the processing of that information. Please inform us immediately if you want us to cease to process your information or you object to processing so that we can consider what action, if any, is appropriate.
